It makes me a little melancholic to announce that I have left the Remake Quake team. It was my decision, and it was not a knee-jerk one, but the result of a long process. It is an amicable split.
It makes me a little excited to announce my own game, Scout’s Journey.
Excuse me while I get drunk and all, I will be back to outline the next few steps and a couple details in a bit. It’s not that bad, though.
Eventually, when you are continually unhappy with things, you will have to make a move, no matter how obliged you may feel to your team and no matter how many sacrifices you brought up to that point, and no matter what anyone says. Such is life, you play the hand you’re dealt. Done is done.
